HAWAS
Alternative Oriental Funk
Hawas is an independent Egyptian band, formed in Cairo in 2014.
Hawas’ distinguished sound comes from progressive music mixed with the drama of melody and lyrics as a special mean of human expression.
Hawas self produced two EPs in 2015,
“Hawas” and “Like Winter”.
Hawas performed multiple live shows in and outside of Cairo, and also took part in important events such as Carthage Music Festival 2017, D-CAF festival 2017, Red Bull FelShare3 2018, and finally Fête de la Musique 2018.
هوس" فرقة مصرية مستقلة، تأسست بالقاهرة عام ٢٠١٤، وتتميز موسيقاها بأسلوب موسيقى البروجريسف وبدراما اللحن والكلمات كوسيلة خاصة للتعبير الإنساني. أصدرت "هوس" ألبومين قصيرين عام 2015 هما "هوس" و"زي الشتا"، وكلاهما من إنتاج الفرقة، كما قدّمت العديد من العروض الحيّة داخل القاهرة وخارجها، وشاركت في العديد من الفعاليات الهامة، منها مهرجان أيام قرطاج الموسيقية 2017 ومهرجان دي كاف 2017 ومهرجان ريد بول في الشارع 2018 وأخيراً عيد الموسيقى بالقاهرة 2018.
